I Won't Chase ASML: I'll Usher in the Carbon-Based Age

Lu Chen carried the memories of a 2035 carbon-based chip back to the day ASML fired him on trumped-up charges. After returning to his home country, he boldly announced that he would build a lithography machine to rival ASML, enduring ridicule from the entire industry, sanctions, supply cutoffs, and layers of encirclement. Meanwhile, in secret, a windowless underground lab was using carbon-based chips to redefine chips themselves. When the data went public, showing carbon-based transistor density at 1.5 times that of silicon-based 3nm chips and power consumption at just 30%, ASML's CEO finally realized that they had shut down Lu Chen's silicon-based lithography machine, but Lu Chen's target had never been silicon-based chips.

This was the ultimate counterattack: building a plank road in the open while secretly advancing through Chencang.
