I Was Drinking My Life Away, Then I Was Reborn in a Parallel World

Lin Chen spent a whole year spiraling downward, drinking himself into a stupor every day, wasting away and avoiding reality until his life became a complete mess.

One night, a thunderclap in the rain tore open the fabric of space and time, and he accidentally fell into a parallel world, where he began a brutal trial of life.

Here, he is hopelessly lazy and a chronic procrastinator. He has neglected his studies, wears himself down with insecurity, and is riddled with bad habits. His life has long been collapsing, step by step.

To return to reality, he has no choice but to grit his teeth, endure hardship and ordeal, and root out the laziness and cowardice deep within himself.

From then on, he gives up drinking, disciplines himself, cuts off his self-destructive thoughts, faces setbacks head-on, and fights tooth and nail to transform.

Through repeated torment and inner struggle, he sheds his despondency and reshapes his character.

When the trial ends, Lin Chen returns to the real world.

The useless drunk who had once sunk into despair is gone for good. The man who returns is a completely transformed new self, reborn toward the light.

This time, he keeps his feet on the ground and makes the most of the rest of his life.
