Pokemon: The Broken Path System, Taking Eevee on an Adventure Through Kanto

After transmigrating into the Pokemon world, Xue Bing bound himself to the Hadou System and was late from the start, missing out on the Starter Pokémon. Professor Oak dug out an Eevee he'd kept tucked away. "This is a keepsake from your adoptive father. It's yours now." Eevee came with four skills right out of the gate: Shadow Ball, Swift, Iron Tail, and Sandstorm. In its first battle, it took on a Shiny Gyarados. With Quick Attack, it dodged by a hair and landed a perfectly aimed Shadow Ball, scoring him a rare red-colored Pokemon for free.

Even more absurdly, the Wurmple egg he got from the System's daily sign-in evolved in a three-step combo after he used two Evolution Stones: Wurmple, then Silcoon, then Beautifly. At the Pewter Gym challenge, Eevee flipped Onix with Iron Tail, while Gyarados took out Geodude with a single Water Gun. Brock's jaw dropped. "How can your Eevee do everything?"

Xue Bing tossed the Gym Badge into his bag. A new mission appeared on the System: collect all eight Kanto Gym Badges to unlock the portal to the next world. He patted Eevee on his shoulder, then glanced at the sleeping Beautifly and Gyarados in his bag.

"Let's go. Next stop, Cerulean Gym. And maybe we can see if Misty's sisters are slacking off."
