Naruto: Pay Me, and I'll Even Kill a Kage for You

After transmigrating into a book set in the Hokage world, Shen Wuyue Yuan has no interest in the Will of Fire or world peace. All he cares about is cold, hard cash. In this postwar era of great-power rivalry and thriving black markets, he knows where the plot is headed, and he knows all too well what happens when you have neither money nor strength. After awakening the "Equivalent Exchange" golden finger, he can grow stronger by spending money earned through mercenary contracts.

No chakra? Buy some! Not good at ninjutsu? Throw money at it! And so the Jinlin, a killer and intelligence organization that gives the leaders of every nation in the ninja world a headache, is born.

Orochimaru has gone rogue and needs travel money? Sure, for a 30 percent fee. Danzo wants to eliminate a political rival? Sorry, that'll cost extra. With his knowledge of the script, Shen Wuyue Yuan precisely rakes in profits from every major event, constantly recruiting and expanding his forces.

Then one day, Kakuzu stares at his ledger, deep in thought, while the powers across the ninja world realize in horror that this organization that "only cares about money" already commands enough terrifying strength to buy out the Five Great Nations! The shadow of true capital is swallowing the ninja world.
