Pokemon: From the Start, Snatching a Six IV Gible for Five Bucks!

Transmigrated into the Pokémon world, Shang Qiu binds himself to the Life Script System, which lets him see other people's future fortunes. Rich kid Chen Tian has the tag "Purple: Receives a pseudo-legendary Pokémon Egg tonight," while his lackey Wang Yao's fortune reads, "Green: Wins second prize on a scratch ticket, with a Pokémon Egg hidden inside." Shang Qiu takes his last five yuan of dinner money and rushes to a lottery shop, snatching the second-prize ticket and trading it for a Gible Egg. A System notification appears: His first Pokémon has maxed-out Individual Values, 6V Master-level potential, and hatches with Outrage and Dragon Dance. On the night Gible hatches, it downs two liang of his father's baijiu in one gulp, then uses Dragon Claw to pick cactus spines as a snack. When Chen Di starts a fight at the Pokémon Center with his Primarina, Arcanine is ordered to use Burn Up and nearly demolishes the lobby. Manager Chen Shui pays 500,000 yuan in hush money on the spot. With only 150,000 yuan left on his League card, Shang Qiu squats in the shade of a park tree, watching Gible smash boulders with Dragon Claw, dig holes, gobble mud, and chase Arcanine. He pulls out a Pokéblock and stuffs it into Gible's gaping maw. "Come on, let's go home and get you a chew toy, one that tastes better than cactus." Gible's eyes light up, and it rubs against his trouser leg, yelping with excitement.
