Journey to the West: I’m the Corrupt Accounts-Balancing Great Sage, Bringing Corruption to the Three Realms

I transmigrated to the world of immortal cultivation, painstakingly trained to the summit, endured heavenly tribulations, and ascended to the Celestial Court!

I thought I would enjoy carefree immortality from then on. Who could have guessed I would be assigned straight to the Celestial Court's Infrastructure Office, where I spent three thousand years as a lowly gofer and workhorse!

After exhausting my blood and sweat, I finally rose to project manager, taking charge of the crucial South Heaven Gate expansion project!

On the eve of the final inspection, I was preparing "local specialties" to grease the palms of the various celestial officials when a panicked construction worker rushed in to report:

"Lord Su! Terrible news! A monkey with a furry face and a thunder-god's beak is causing a huge disturbance at the South Heaven Gate. It even smashed a load-bearing pillar!"

My heart sank, and a chill ran through me!

Who knew how many shady secrets were buried in the South Heaven Gate project?

The load-bearing pillars were supposed to be cast from Nine Heavens Darksteel, but I replaced every last bit with ordinary iron.

The beams were specified to be made of Dark Phoenix parasol wood, but I used birch and covered it with red paint to pass it off.

The demon-suppressing formation in the foundation was nothing but flashy lights and sound effects. I had already sold off the formation's core!

Watching the agitated silhouette of the monkey in the distance, I gritted my teeth and cursed:

Damn monkey! When someone else causes Havoc in Heaven, it's a rebellion. But you, of all people, came to audit the Celestial Court's construction project!
