New My Fair Princess: Escorting the Empress Dowager Home and Taking on Little Swallow

Jing Yan dozed off in class and transmigrated into New My Fair Princess, becoming the Empress Dowager's own granddaughter, Princess Gurun Hezhao, daughter of Prince Guo. Raised by the Empress Dowager from childhood, she holds a title a rank above a gege. She vows to cling to this powerful patron, get close to Qing'er, stay away from the greasy Erkang and the lovesick main cast, and coast along until the finale.

At the grand ceremony celebrating their return from Wutai Mountain, Little Swallow chased a runaway horse around the grounds, nearly hitting the Empress Dowager. Jing Yan and Qing'er protected the Empress Dowager from either side, while Yongheng and Fu Ling'an leaped forward to stop the horse. Little Swallow came charging over, shrieking that she would take the blow for the Empress Dowager, only for Yongqi to kick her flying. That evening, the main cast came to Jing Yan's residence and asked her to plead with the Empress Dowager on Little Swallow's behalf. Ziwei didn't even know how to pay her respects. Jing Yan sneered. "Don't know the rules? Take twenty slaps and learn." Erkang flew into a rage. "You're more vicious than the Empress!" Little Swallow tried to lunge at her, but Yongqi held her back with all his might. Qing'er watched coolly the entire time as Jing Yan took a leisurely sip of tea and added:

"You come asking for a favor and bring thugs along? I can't accept such sincerity, Your Highness."
