From the Start with an Abandoned Mine, I Get Rich Farming Underground

Shen Yan, a modern agricultural facilities specialist and fresh-food warehouse operations manager, unexpectedly transmigrates to Yinkeng Village in the southern Zhejiang mountains during the Great Jing dynasty. She becomes an orphan who has inherited a sealed, abandoned silver mine. The village's land is barren, its terraced fields scattered, and farming barely keeps people fed. But she discovers that the abandoned mine tunnels left by her ancestors stay cool in summer and warm in winter, with stable temperature and humidity, making them a natural underground farm and storage treasure trove.

She starts by cultivating mushrooms, sprouting beans, and storing vegetables in cellars. Gradually, she turns the mine tunnels into an off-season growing base, a cave-aging brewery, and a temperature-controlled fresh-food warehouse. Rare off-season produce and the unique quality of cave-aged goods open up the high-end market, while she builds a supply chain linking the mountains, county seat, and prefectural city. Along the way, she must contend with the authorities' mining ban, local gentry trying to seize the mine, bandits coveting it, and competitors stealing trade secrets. She must also uncover the truth behind the mine's closure thirty years ago. In the end, she revives the derelict Yinkeng Village through its "underground industries," becoming the unrivaled "Queen of Cave-Aged Commerce" in the region.
