Siheyuan: Returning from the Army, I Rise from Section Chief to Division Chief

After transmigrating to 1962, Zhang Yufei, a museum security guard, becomes a seriously wounded battalion-level officer and awakens a spatial System, complete with a spirit spring, farmland, and warehouse.

Once his injuries heal, he decisively leaves the army and uses his First-Class Merit to become the head of Procurement Section Three at the Red Star Steelworks. Assigned a staff apartment in the back courtyard of a siheyuan, he stands his ground against Jia Zhangshi, who tries to grab the place by throwing a tantrum.

With vast quantities of food and livestock at his disposal, he hunts tigers in the mountains and stores their bones, entrusts comrades with secretly raising animals in the countryside, and roams the pigeon markets and black market in search of huanghuali wood, rosewood, ancient jade, and antiques.

Armed with a pistol and military honors, he sees through the schemes of Yi Zhonghai, Liu Haizhong, and Yan Bugui. With supplies and connections at his fingertips, he calmly completes his procurement duties while frantically collecting antiques, safely avoids the upheavals of the era, and lives a carefree life of wealth and leisure.
