Treading the Immortal Path with a Reversed Scale

Born with a damaged qilin meridian, Su Linchen is regarded as a cripple by his clan from childhood. He endures the contempt and bullying of his kin, has his engagement broken and his spirit root taken, and nearly dies at the edge of a sheer cliff. At the brink of despair, the ancient qilin remnant soul dormant within him for countless ages awakens, unlocking a sealed inheritance from the star domains.

The clan elders who once looked down on him, the scions of powerful families who kicked him while he was down, and his faithless former fiancée will all pay for their past cruelty. He traverses the secret realms of the mortal domain, refines ancient spiritual materials, rebuilds the supreme qilin path, commands the power of the stars, and makes ten thousand beasts submit.

He reigns supreme in the mortal world and establishes his might in the immortal realm. As the old Divine Court's authority crumbles, he rises from the Flowing Cloud Divine Domain and breaks the barriers between classes by his own strength. The good-for-nothing boy everyone once trampled underfoot eventually takes control of the Dark Star Domain, gazing down upon the Nine Heavens clad in qilin light. Every hardship becomes a step on his climb to the summit, and with unyielding pride, he defies fate and ascends to the pinnacle of the myriad immortals.
