Everyone's Struggling to Survive, and I Have a Mobile Train Fortress

A million players with firepower anxiety descend upon the apocalypse plains, drawing unique vehicles and talents from the start!

Others draw an S-rank armored tank and complain it's too clumsy. Someone gets an SS-rank supercar and gripes that its chassis will be wrecked on the muddy roads. Me? I draw an F-rank rusty steam locomotive! System notification: No tracks. Movement impossible. The whole server laughs: "Congratulations on getting the plains' first iron coffin!"

Night falls, and a zombie horde floods the battlefield. The S-rank tank gets stuck in the swamp, the supercar is torn apart, and cries for help rise from all sides.

The next second, my busted old locomotive suddenly belches smoke, and gleaming blue alloy tracks appear out of thin air, stretching into the distance! "Woo-oo!" The steam roars as the wreck of a train drags its empty cars forward, crushing a bloody path through the horde!

The first car automatically transforms into an artillery emplacement, and a rocket launcher rises from the second. The zombie horde is instantly reduced to ash. I calmly add a comment in the channel: "Man, this old thing's firepower is too weak. It only blew up this many monsters. It's no fun without a nuclear warhead."

My teammates fall silent as one.

On the plains, the tracks are the truth. Want to get on? Beg me first.
