You Asked for a Superhero Story, but I Wrote a Clown in the Real World

Li Su transmigrates to a parallel world and enters a global screenwriting competition. The prompt is superheroes. While everyone else creates dazzling, righteous protagonists, Li Su writes the Joker.

The moment the story begins, the entire room erupts in laughter. The judges and audience mock him for going completely off-topic, calling him a clown desperate for attention, just like the protagonist, Arthur.

As the plot slowly unfolds, the room grows quiet. Every line from the classic script strikes a nerve: "I just hope my death will be worth more than my life." "I used to think my life was a tragedy, but now I realize it's a comedy."

Public opinion quickly splits. Some criticize the film's dark tone and demand that it be pulled and banned. But viewers who understand the story are deeply moved. It tears away society's facade and portrays ordinary people at the bottom, abandoned by their times.

This antihero masterpiece confronts reality and probes human nature. Everyone agrees that Joker has what it takes to contend for the film industry's highest award.
