He Pretends to Be Poor, I Pretend to Be Rich: Our Online Romance Turns into a Game of Tricks

A luxury boutique clerk pretends to be a rich woman to bait a scumbag, only to hook the real heir to a fortune.

She works at a luxury boutique. To avenge her best friend, she poses as a wealthy woman and specializes in tricking love cheats. He is heir to tens of billions, and poses as a poor office worker on a dating app because he wants to find someone who loves him for himself.

They are a "perfect match" on the app: one wants to fleece a fat sheep, while the other hopes to find true love. They chat online, meet in person, and go on dates, each putting on an act without giving the game away.

Then it turns out the mansion she rented is his house. The walk-in closet, with its walls lined with couture, sets off a spectacular showdown. She thinks she'll be bankrupted paying for the damage, while he hides his amusement as she makes up a story about her "ex-husband."

On the observation deck, they both come clean. She flees in despair, and he grips a ring and says, "I'll find you."

A boutique clerk out for revenge on behalf of her best friend, and a young heir searching for true love. When the two con artists finally drop their masks, they discover that the person they've been waiting for all along is each other.
