My Neighborhood Became a Safe Zone in the Apocalypse

The apocalypse arrives, and the world falls.

Zhao Yuan, an ordinary property manager in a residential complex, takes a nap in the security office. When he wakes, the world outside has changed: the guards are biting people, the streets are running with blood, and the phones are dead.

He instinctively does three things: shuts the complex gates, starts the backup generator, and posts a message in the residents' group chat: "Residents, please stay home and do not go outside. Management is checking the situation."

Then he discovers he's bonded with the Safe Zone Management System.

While everyone else struggles to survive the apocalypse, he manages property in it.

While survivors outside fight to the death for a bite to eat, residents in his complex are complaining in the group chat that the neighbors' renovation work is too noisy.

While armed factions conquer territory by force, he brings out the residents' handbook: "Under Rule 38 of this complex, outsiders must register and pay a month's worth of supplies as a deposit."

Starting with an ordinary residential complex, Zhao Yuan gradually turns it into the last safe zone in the apocalypse.

It has walls, power and water, and a cafeteria. No fighting, no misery: everyone gets by through rules and ingenuity.
