Honghuang: I'm a Taihang Civet, Borrowing from the Foolish Old Man's Family to Find Treasure

After transmigrating to the Primordial World, Fang Yang becomes a tabby cat who has just attained spiritual awareness on Mount Taihang. All he wants is to keep his head down and cultivate. But the mountain god drains the spiritual veins to rule as a local tyrant, while Yugong insists on moving the mountain like a demolition foreman. When two mighty beings fight, the one who suffers is him, stuck right between them.

With the mountain god about to take him out first, Fang Yang turns his attention to Yugong. Yugong stole the mountain god's strongest magic treasure, and getting his paws on it would be the perfect chance to flee. But Yugong is loyal and not easy to fool. Fortunately, his son Jifeng is lovestruck, completely bewitched by a snake demon and already plotting to steal the treasure to win over his beloved "Qingqing."

Fang Yang crouches in the shadows, watching the snake demon pout, plead poverty, and pretend to be a ghost to scare Jifeng. A few tricks are all it takes to wrap him around her little finger. Jifeng steals the Radiant Copper Mirror and Ghost-Repelling Talisman and rushes off to save the beauty. Fang Yang gently blows a puff of datura pollen after him. The man drops, the treasures are switched, and high-quality fakes made from stones and leaves are left behind as a "surprise."

The mountain god is hopping mad in Lingxian Cave, while Yugong still has no idea his treasures are fake. Fang Yang tucks the two genuine treasures away and makes a run for it in the dead of night. The Primordial World is huge. This cat is done serving you lot.
