Honkai: Star Rail: Fishing for Clout from the Start, and Jing Yuan Takes Notice

Lu Chen transmigrates into the world of Honkai: Star Rail and becomes a low-ranking clerk on the Xianzhou Luofu, bound to an Ultimate Slacker System: working hard lowers his stats, and the longer he slacks off, the stronger he gets.

To stay alive, he has no choice but to slack off in plain sight.

Who would have thought that on his seventh day at work, General Jing Yuan would make a surprise inspection and catch him at his desk studying practice questions for the Xianzhou civil service exam?

After Lu Chen receives a public reprimand across the entire Luofu, his slacker System unexpectedly upgrades.

From then on, March 7th pulls strings to get him to fix her camera, Fu Xuan personally comes to ask for a fortune reading, and even the Stellaron Hunters’ wanted notices need his signature and official stamp.

But all he wants to say is: I really am just slacking off!
