Type-Moon: Wielding a Simulator to Turn Around a Medium's Ill Fate

After transmigrating as Risei Kotomine's adopted son, Lu Mengyu is diagnosed from the start with a "masochistic spirit medium constitution." In a few years, he'll be sent to the Church as live bait, drawing demons into his body so they can be purified. All he wants is to lie flat and live as an ordinary priest, until his Life Simulator finally lights up.

A level-five mission: purify the Greater Grail? The reward is the Holy Lance Rhongomyniad, but the difficulty is absurdly high. He chooses a level-four villain mission instead: eliminate All the World's Evil and ensure that any Master who makes a wish has it granted. Then he begins his first simulation, with his talents maxed out: 13 Magic Circuits, an extraordinary affinity for humanity, and a martial arts genius.

In the simulation, Kirei Kotomine is called back early, and Claudia begs him for help through tears. Lu Mengyu smiles. He doesn't need to kill her; it's enough for her to watch her husband fall apart. As Kirei's smile twists, as Risei displays his terrifying magical power for the first time, and as Claudia teeters on the balcony, the seed of All the World's Evil has already begun to sprout.

The hidden pawn weeps, the Grail laughs, and Lu Mengyu simply wipes his blade. "I don't need a weapon effective against Masters. I'm the knife that stabs them in the back."
