I'm a B-Rank Contamination Recovery Agent

Title: I! B-Rank Contamination Recycler

Synopsis:

An eerie mist descends upon the world, and everyone awakens a Sequence.

I awaken a B-rank ability, Contamination Recycling, officially stamped a "useless ability." It can only slowly absorb the faint contamination particles in the air.

My colleagues mock me as useless, and the company treats me as cannon fodder.

Contamination levels at the chemical plant east of the city spike, and three teams of Awakened go missing. After assessing the situation, headquarters decides to send me, a "non-combatant," to my death.

The moment I step into the restricted zone, my ability goes out of control.

Contaminants accumulated over decades throughout the abandoned factory surge into my body like water into a whale's mouth!

Contamination levels plummet as my ability rank skyrockets.

B-rank -> A-rank -> S-rank -> ???

Everyone is asking: What Sequence is he, exactly?

I look down at my hands, now glowing with a pale white light, and the corners of my mouth curl up.

"Sorry, but it seems your useless ability is a little too powerful."
