Supernatural Files

When science and the supernatural refuse to acknowledge each other, a mismatched team patches the cracks in the world from the city's shadowy side.

Team Members

Director Song Rentou: A former captain of the criminal police, he was reassigned after witnessing a case that science could not explain. He was later ordered to establish the Supernatural Affairs Bureau. He does not believe in ghosts, but he does believe that "someone is using unknown forces to commit evil." He carries a modified electromagnetic pulse gun in his left hand and a modern science almanac in his right. His catchphrase: "Don't rush to burn paper offerings. Let me check the magnetic field first."

Technical Consultant Zhong Wu: A physicist specializing in quantum entanglement and string theory. He firmly believes that every supernatural phenomenon can be explained by undiscovered laws of physics. He invented the "Schrodinger Detector," which exists in a superposition of detecting and not detecting spirits, driving his teammates crazy countless times.

Hard sci-fi + folklore and strange tales + light mystery. Each case is investigated with scientific methods first. When they reach the end of the road and still can't solve it, Old Lu pulls out a Song dynasty edition and says, "This book says how to deal with this demon."
