Hong Kong Films: From Water Rat to Emperor of Kowloon

“My name is Jiang Lin, and I’m the boss of the people who live on the water. Three days ago, I brought dozens of brothers ashore from the Black Shark, kicked open Huafei’s mahjong parlor on Hu tian Street, took him out in three seconds, and claimed a 5-million System reward.

Now Hu tian Street is mine. But Kowloon Walled City has more than thirty streets, each with its own rules, and behind every rule stands a boss with blood on his hands.

They look down on the people who live on the water, calling us water rats, floating corpses, and scavengers fit only to forage in filthy water.

Soon, they’ll learn that a water rat’s bite hurts worse than a wolf’s. I didn’t come ashore just to land. I came to take territory. Who’s next?”
