Hong Kong Films: If You Want to Make It, You Need Power and Connections

My name is Chen Yao. I’m twenty-six, and I transmigrated into the Hong Kong cinema universe, a world where countless classic Hong Kong movies have merged together. My current identity is that of a small-time thug, scraping by in the Yau Tsim Mong District. I don’t have any special talents, but I’m fairly quick-witted. A little cunning is all that’s kept me alive in this chaotic place.

Lesson one in life: to make it in the underworld, you need power and connections!

You ask who I am?

My name is Ye Bufan!

I’m a humble man, a major entrepreneur and philanthropist on the surface, but behind the scenes, I also go by the titles of Godfather of Hong Kong’s underworld, King of the southern peninsula, Big Daddy of the Japanese underworld, and Uncrowned King of Southeast Asia.

When I, Ye Bufan, make my way in the underworld, I rely on three things: massive influence, lots of money, and loyal brothers!
