Hong Kong Films: The Pinnacle of the Police Force, One Man Holds All the Power

Hong Kong crime drama mash-up + System + detective work + tycoon protagonist + wish fulfillment. The reviews are a little low since it just came out, but don't worry, give it a read.

At the turn of the millennium, Hong Kong was named the "Safest City in the World."

It was all thanks to that man.

At the award ceremony, reporters from around the world asked him questions one after another:

"Crime-busting tycoon, king of philanthropy, father of technology, godfather of the underworld... You have so many titles. Which one is your favorite?"

"You went from being a beat cop to achieving such great success. How do you feel about that?"

"You've had so many brilliant moments in your career. Which one do you remember most?"

Faced with all their questions, Chen Yaofeng smiled and answered each one.

At the final question, Chen Yaofeng couldn't help thinking of the best of times. Smiling, he said:

"Those carefree days on the beat were pretty nice, actually."
