Zombie Apocalypse: My Escort Lasts Only 30 Minutes

The apocalypse breaks out, and zombies surround the city.

Manba awakens a Summoning System.

Kill zombies to earn points.

Rescue survivors to earn points.

Points can summon a two-dimensional guardian to fight for him for thirty minutes.

But the System never gives anything away for free.

If a guardian dies in battle, they're gone forever.

If a guardian returns alive, the next summon costs twice as much.

Killing one zombie earns only 1 point, but rescuing one person earns 10.

So while everyone else fights over food, weapons, and territory in the apocalypse, Manba sets his sights on the survivors.

"Rescue people?"

"No."

"I'm just keeping myself alive."

Then one day, the announcement from the Hope train echoes throughout the city:

Refused boarding: Manba.

The underage survivors accompanying him are suspected priority recovery targets.

Manba smiles.

"You won't let me on the train?"

"Then I'll beat you until you open the doors."
