Siheyuan: The Day I Left the Army, I Dug Up a Nuclear Bomb

The Fierce Tiger Regiment was the best of the best among the Southwest Theater Command's elite forces. Regiment Commander Chen Zheng led his pack of tiger cubs for two years, taking the lives of eighty thousand soldiers from the White Elephant Nation and striking such fear into the enemy that they would never hold their heads high again.

But when the war ended, he took off his uniform, tucked his discharge papers away, and walked off without looking back.

On the train, the cries of more than a thousand men still rang in his ears, but he had already fallen asleep.

When he opened his eyes again, there was no soft sleeper compartment, no old green train. There was only a sealed earthen box less than two meters across, with walls on every side and not so much as a crack for a door.

An iron shovel floated beside his feet. Each of the six earthen walls was clearly labeled: Dig forward: nuclear bomb warning;

Dig left: 120 enemy soldiers. Dig right: thirty jin of pork... Chen Zheng took a deep breath. "I've commanded armies of thousands, and now you're asking me which wall to dig through?!"
