Global Awakening: From the Start, I Prove the Tathagata’s Way as a Shaolin Monk

Everyone awakened, and spiritual qi revival began.

Martial arts flourished in this world, exotic beasts ran rampant, and secret realms were everywhere.

Yet no one knew of immortals or gods, no one had heard of Buddhism or the Dao, and the ancient myths had been completely lost.

The Martial Monk talent was branded by the world as a useless F-rank: no combat power, no attributes, no potential for cultivation. Everyone mocked and looked down on its users.

Chen Xuan, who had transmigrated here, carried the complete Buddhist and Daoist traditions of Earth. He awakened the Martial Monk talent everyone despised and bound himself to the Great Sun Tathagata Enlightenment System.

The whole school mocked him for throwing his life away, the prodigies looked down on his poor aptitude, and the teachers thought he would never amount to much.

Only the cool and aloof campus beauty, Su Qingyue, silently watched him conceal his abilities and endure in silence, waiting for him to reveal his brilliance.

You say Martial Monks are good-for-nothings?

I'll cultivate the Golden Bell Shield, forge an Arhat's body, and master the Vajra Demon-Subduing Fist. I'll be invincible among my peers, with a body second to none!

You judge people by their talent?

I'll tread the Arhat's path, attain Bodhisattvahood, and achieve Buddhahood. In a world without Buddhas, I'll open the great path of Buddhism on my own!

The prodigies of my generation? I'll crush them all along the way.

The powerful and wealthy? I'll suppress every last one of them.

Exotic beasts from beyond the domain? I'll wipe them out with the light of Buddha.

From now on, there will be one more Buddha in this world, named the Great Sun Tathagata!
