I Forge My Own Path to the Dao

The world has long been dead, and all living beings exist amid the echoes of an era of ruin.

The heavenly secrets are shattered, the myriad paths are incomplete, reincarnation is a false prison, and the gods are all prisoners from antiquity. People fight over scraps of cultivation and pursue the power over immortality, only to become puppets of fate and corpses of the world's Dao.

Shen Zhi, a young tomb keeper in the burial grounds of the Ruined Era, was born with an unblemished heart that cannot be assimilated by the Great Dao or deceived by the heavenly secrets.

By chance, he touches an ancient broken stele and glimpses the truth behind the annihilation of the era. From then on, he refuses to follow the conventional path to immortality or the old rules of cultivation.

With a mortal body, he defies the broken Heavenly Dao. With a heart true to himself, he shatters the fate of the ages.

He seeks neither to rule the heavens nor to wield supreme power. He only wants to break free of the world's shackles and restore true freedom to all living beings.

The world has no fixed laws, and the myriad paths do not converge. My fate has never been in Heaven's hands. It rests only with my heart.
