Detective Conan: The Right Way to Stay Away from the Grim Reaper

After transmigrating into the world of Detective Conan, Miyano Yushi became a physical education teacher at Teitan High School and got bound to a maddeningly unreliable choice System.

Choice one? Mastery of karate, a sniper rifle, a rapid-healing potion... The rewards are amazing!

But the price is that getting close to Shinichi Kudo means bad luck: getting hit in the head by a soccer ball, breaking a chair by sitting on it, missing a step on the stairs, and nearly dying on the spot.

Having learned his lesson, Miyano Yushi chooses only “one random skill point” from then on, keeping his distance from the Grim Reaper and staying safe while he grows.

But who could have known that after Shinichi turns into Conan, things get even more terrifying? Even going out for a meal can land him in the middle of a murder case!

Even worse, the System always presents options when he wants to run away:

“One: Rush in and help Conan solve the case. Reward: Grandmaster-level taekwondo.”

“Two: Pretend you didn't notice and walk away. Reward: one random skill point.”

Miyano Yushi chooses two through tears, only to discover that without realizing it, he has built up an all-around, max-level stat panel.

Conan: Teacher Miyano, who are you really?

Miyano Yushi: I'm just a PE teacher who doesn't want you to get me killed.
