Zombies in Anju Town

A Zombiez virus born from an accident sweeps across the globe. In a short time, cities become hunting grounds for man-eating monsters.

When his hometown falls, high school student Cheng Fan is forced to send off his infected younger sister with his own hands. The survivors travel to an unfallen region aboard Anjufang. Later, while attending school, he meets the retired soldier Xia Yu, the shut-in Xin Ruyi, and others.

When the Zombiez attack the city, they form a temporary squad. They search for supplies amid the ruins, fight off waves of Zombiez, and rescue survivors.

But when the group reaches the virus's point of origin, an abandoned laboratory on the outskirts of the city, they discover that the virus has already spread through the air across the globe, and a vaccine remains nowhere in sight. Worse still, the Zombiez have begun to develop intelligence. They no longer wander aimlessly, but hunt survivors in organized packs. Standing before the laboratory's observation window, Cheng Fan watches smoke rise from the distant city. Beside him, Zombiez Si suddenly points outside and softly says a few words: "They're looking for home."

In this ruined world, humanity is no longer the master. What does it mean to survive: to cling to life by any means, or to hold on for that faint glimmer of hope?
