Poison Strategist System: Rising to Power by Seizing the Imperial Consort!

After transmigrating as Li Ru, Dong Zhuo's son-in-law and chief lackey, I find myself in a death trap from the start. The System binds itself to me: "Do enough evil, and fortune will rain from the heavens."

Newbie missions: burn Luoyang, poison the young emperor, seize the imperial consorts... Refuse, and Dong Zhuo kills you. Do it, and the whole world comes after you.

Li Ru laughs. Right in front of Dong Zhuo, he kicks away a sobbing imperial consort, then turns around and offers a poisonous scheme to move the capital.

As flames rise that night and a million refugees wail, he tells the System from atop the city wall, "These points aren't enough."

Later, Dong Zhuo dies, staring wide-eyed as he gasps, "Wenyou... you..." Li Ru wipes the blood from his sword and finishes his father-in-law's last words for him: "Father-in-law, you were right. I'm your most loyal dog."

"Only dogs can bite their masters, too." Later still, Cao Cao is tricked out of half of the Central Plains, Lu Bu kneels and begs him to spare Diaochan, and Emperor Xian of Han weeps as he begs Li Ru to accept the abdication. When the court historian asks what posthumous title he wants, he says, "Call me the Poisonous Martial Emperor. Let future generations remember: being a good person can't save the world. Being a villain can." This is an imperial path paved with evil deeds. He is neither a hero nor an ambitious warlord. He is a master of poisonous schemes.
