Crayon Shin-chan: The Kasukabe Memory Scavenger

I can see the fragments of memories that fall from people's hearts, and I make my living from them.

For every bit of warmth I pick up, I lose a piece of myself.

As I wander through Kasukabe, I gradually forget who “I” am.

Until a five-year-old boy with thick eyebrows tricks me into coming home with a “hamburger steak.”

He can't see the blue glow of memories filling the sky, but he always sees right through my emptiness.

“Big Sis, there's a hole in you here.”

Shinnosuke Nohara presses his most precious Action Kamen card against my chest with all his might.

“Action Beam, fire! Patch it up!”

The Nohara family's meals are delicious, and the breeze in Kasukabe is warm.

I grow greedy. For the first time, I want to have a “name” and a “home.”

But then a bloodstained letter suddenly smacks me in the face:

“Get out of Kasukabe! You memory-stealing thief, sitting on the graves of this entire city!”

I clutch the scorching card and look at the sleeping child beside me, and at this sun-drenched town.

Fine.

Then let the battle begin.

Let's see whether you devour my memories first, or I dig you out of everyone's “forgetting” first!
