Bodhi's Protection: Wukong Turns the Journey to the West Upside Down

The Journey to the West has reached its conclusion, and the Buddhist sect has secretly raised the Six-Eared Macaque to take the place of the real Wukong and receive the title of Victorious Fighting Buddha.

The Three Realms celebrate, unaware that the true Great Sage Equal to Heaven lies chained through the bones in a subterranean chamber beneath Mount Lingshan, being refined by Buddhist radiance day and night.

Only Patriarch Bodhi of Fangcun Mountain sees through the truth with his divine eyes of karma. In a fury, he storms Mount Lingshan and defies heaven to set up a formation that will revive Wukong.

From that day on, master and disciple embark on an invincible path, sweeping through the Journey to the West, settling accounts with Buddhism, defying the Heavenly Dao, and exterminating evil gods.
