Apocalypse: The Twin Emperors of Ice and Thunder

In 2520, the apocalypse arrived. Above Earth, a meteor the size of the Moon appeared in space and hurtled toward the planet at the speed of light, staining the sky blood red...

As the meteor hurtled toward Earth at the speed of light, friction with the atmosphere made it glow fiercely and grow scorching hot.

Earthquakes and tsunamis erupted around the world...

The meteor began to break apart as it scraped through Earth's atmosphere. At the same time, the leaders of every nation pressed the nuclear button, sending countless warheads streaking toward the falling meteor. A spectacular fireworks display burst across Earth's sky...

The meteor collided with countless nuclear warheads, producing a mushroom cloud above Earth beyond description...

At last, the meteor shattered into countless fragments that fell toward Earth like streaks of starlight. As countries around the world watched the fragments rain down, countless people, animals, and plants were infected by viruses carried by the meteor and began to mutate.

Some people obtained meteor fragments and awakened their Sequences, becoming Transcendent Sequence users.

Meteor fragments were ranked from lowest to highest: white, yellow, blue, green, and red.
