Siheyuan: The Deaf Old Lady Has My Back

Tao Jianjun comes from the countryside to seek refuge in a courtyard house, and everyone thinks they can bully him because he is a poor outsider.

Jia Zhangshi freeloads on food and drink, Yi Zhonghai schemes behind his back, and Xu Damao makes snide remarks.

The whole courtyard is waiting to see him make a fool of himself.

But nobody knows that he is the biological grandson the Deaf Old Lady has chosen.

The Deaf Old Lady plants herself at the doorway and thumps her cane:

"I'm Tao Jianjun's grandmother. Let's see who dares lay a finger on him!"

From then on, every troublemaker in the courtyard behaves themselves.

Tao Jianjun only wants to live quietly with his great-aunt, and occasionally teach those bullies a lesson.

He never expected life to get better and better, with fine food and drink, while the whole courtyard looks on enviously!
