Hong Kong Films: Fighting the Rat Race, I Somehow Became the Boss

Lin Feng, a corporate wage slave from the twenty-first century, transmigrates into a Hong Kong crime drama world and becomes a low-level thug in Wo Shing Wo.

The Anti-Grind System comes online. Resisting the grind earns rewards, and all Lin Feng wants is to lie flat and slack off.

He has no desire to fight for the top at the risk of his life or covet the prestige of being a gang boss. He just wants to collect a little protection money, drink some iced lemon tea, and live in peace.

When gangs fight over territory in Causeway Bay and battle for business in Tsim Sha Tsui, he avoids getting involved whenever he can, yet somehow ends up intimidating everyone each time. Gang leaders vie to recruit him, but the more he turns them down, the more his reputation eclipses that of every local boss. He never meant to get involved in the stock market or gold trade, but a few casual moves send ripples through Hong Kong's financial world.

From a Temple Street thug to a crime kingpin, from a street punk to a financial tycoon, the more laid-back Lin Feng is, the more invincible he becomes. Amid the blood and chaos of Hong Kong's underworld, he lies his way into an untouchable legend!
