Hong Kong Films: Why Does the Robot Dog I Sold Have a Rifle Mounted on It?

Gu Ming transmigrates into a world where 1980s Hong Kong movies have merged with reality, and binds himself to a hardcore industrial System.

In a lawless land teeming with gangs, Gu Ming firmly refuses to become a street thug. Instead, he starts a civilian technology factory.

To make parcel deliveries easier, Gu Ming develops an intelligent robot dog named Tiedan.

Jiang Tiansheng of the Hung Hing gang buys one to guard his territory. A few days later, Camel Luo of the East Star gang is scared out of his wits when he sees the robot dog with a rifle welded to its back, firing in bursts.

To help spray pesticides in mountainous regions, Gu Ming comes up with a heavy-lift drone.

The result is a flood of orders worth three billion from Middle Eastern tycoons, while the Americans are left with tingling scalps at the sight of swarms of drones raining bombs from the sky.

Even the Laiyang gas cylinders made for cooking get modified into super-heavy cannons capable of leveling entire city blocks.

Lu Minghua, the chief superintendent of Hong Kong Island's Organized Crime and Triad Bureau, leads a team in a surprise inspection. Seeing warehouses full of T800 combat robots and armed bots awaiting shipment, he is completely dumbfounded.

You call this legitimate business?

A top military official from the mainland rushes over as soon as he hears the news, his eyes bloodshot.

Enlist them! All these civilian devices must serve in the military!

Gu Ming spreads his hands. I'm really a legitimate businessman. They insisted on mounting rifles on the robot dogs. What am I supposed to do?
