Girls Have Their Springtime Too

With the cry of a newborn baby girl, a little girl came into the world.

"It's a girl, father," said the midwife.

"I love daughters. Sons and daughters are all the same to me. We've got ourselves a little princess," the father said with a grin.

"I've got a granddaughter! I have three sons, but never had a daughter. New mother, let me raise this little granddaughter!" said the baby's grandmother.

"Look, our little princess has hair just like her grandma," said the baby's mother.

The baby's grandfather said, "Then let's give her the nickname Little Black Hair!"

After saying that, the grandmother carried her little granddaughter to another bed to sleep.

Three years flew by. Time waits for no one, and the little girl began learning to walk, tottering from side to side in a way that made everyone adore her.

They say children raised by doting parents grow spoiled, but she was a crybaby from the start. Her uncle even nicknamed her Little Oil Cake.

Her eldest uncle was unmarried and couldn't stand the sound of a child crying. One afternoon, Little Black Hair suddenly burst into tears because nobody was spoiling her.
