Memories of the Fading Years

This work is a soft science fiction novel in which the author tells from a first-person perspective the adventure stories related to rock music culture, metaverse technology and fantasy hackers that he experienced in his youth and college years after about 2094. The protagonist explores the AIGA artificial intelligence-generated art music chip and the fantasy twin virtual human project that his grandfather was diligently exploring in his youth. He inadvertently gets involved in the weird black market of the metaverse, the fantasy hacker organization, and the many disturbances of the underground rock band, and interprets a series of absurd youth stories intertwined with love and hatred. The content of this work is based on the author's real experience in the real world and is exaggerated with science fiction metaphors. It uses a magical realism style to show the magnificent urban changes and customs of North China. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be imitated.
