Film and TV: It All Began When I Met Nuolan

Su Chang has just graduated from the Shanghai Theatre Academy when he unexpectedly transmigrates into the world of Love Apartment. He's always had a soft spot for gentle, caring older women, and he falls for the warm and gracious Nuo Lan at first sight.

Taking advantage of his work, along with a few well-timed exchanges of favors, he gradually gets closer to the woman he likes. He thinks he's the one making the first move, but he has no idea she's had her eye on him all along.

First, Nuo Lan tells him in a soft voice that her landlord kicked her out, then begs him to take her in with a pitiful look.

Not long after, she says her family is pressuring her to get married and drags him into pretending to be her boyfriend.

In the end, she simply keeps him by her side and blocks his way with a smile. "Now that you're here with me, do you really think you can leave?"

The gentle older woman has all sorts of little schemes up her sleeve. Su Chang thought he was the one approaching her, but she ends up wrapping him around her finger.
