The Sky Screen Exposes Corruption: Emperors Across the Dynasties Hunt Down Corrupt Officials Overnight

Lin Che, a history student, happens upon a magical phone capable of "forced livestreaming" to every parallel timeline from the Qin and Han to the Tang, Song, and Ming dynasties. Modern anti-gang videos, military exercise footage, and news about people's lives that he casually scrolls past become images on a sky screen stretching across the heavens, viewed simultaneously by emperors and ministers, commoners and officials throughout the dynasties.

And so, a massive stone is cast into the river of history:

The emperors and ministers watch modern armies, torrents of steel, sweep through their enemies with overwhelming force. They see how the "court of later generations" uses a system as precise as a machine to eradicate organized crime and corruption that have sunk deep roots. Zhu Yuanzhang summons the Embroidered Uniform Guard for questioning in the middle of the night. Li Shimin and Zhangsun Wuji lie awake until dawn. Qin Shi Huang falls into deep thought over the "rigor of later generations' laws." Their principles of rule are being crushed by an attack from a higher dimension.

The comparisons he livestreams between domestic and foreign approaches to social governance lay bare the foundations of two civilizations: on one side, a safety net that "lets no one fall into hardship and deprivation"; on the other, the "social death line" of a world where the strong prey on the weak. This sparks an unprecedented and fierce ideological storm across all dynasties.
