Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Xuanzang is newly translated as Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. He is a saint in the world. The words came from Han Feizi, who listed Confucianism and Mohism as five kinds of beetles, five kinds of people who harm society and the country. However, among the five kinds of people, Han Feizi bluntly said: "Zhongni is also a sage in the world." We are all familiar with the story of Confucius traveling around the world. There is a saint in Buddhism who also traveled around the world. It is said in Pumen Pin that he "traveled in the Saha world". Who is he? He is the Guanyin Bodhisattva who is both familiar and unfamiliar to us. Bodhisattva has become a "god" in folk belief, rather than a "person" that actually existed. Did he really exist in history? What are the dates of his birth and death and his life story? A Buddhist monk once said that we don't know this. However, it is recorded in the Beihua Sutra that in the past there was a king named Wu Zheng Nian, and his first prince was named Bu Huan. At that time, there was a sage named Treasure Tathagata who named the prince Guanyin. There are many stories about Guanyin Bodhisattva among the people, and there are also some novels. For example: Avalokitesvara attains the Tao, Avalokitesvara's biography, etc. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be imitated.
