The beginning of the story
He Fei and his wife Li Muzi went to Southeast Asia for their honeymoon. Muzi disappeared unexpectedly. A strange woman appeared as Muzi and dealt with He Fei. He Fei believed that the other party was a fake and asked Chinese lawyer Chen Mai to investigate the truth. As the investigation deepens, Chen Mai gradually uncovers the true face of He Fei, who is addicted to gambling and covets Muzi's family property due to huge gambling debts. Behind his seemingly affectionate search for his wife, it is actually a well-planned murder scam. In the end, the truth was revealed. Muzi was deceived by He Fei and drowned in a cage on the bottom of the sea. Chen Mai was actually Muzi's best friend and set up a trap just to make He Fei subdue the law. He Fei could not escape legal sanctions in the end.
