Luffy, How Can You Become King of the Pirates If You Don't Work Hard?

The "One Piece Training System" forcibly binds itself to Luffy, cutting his sleep down to one hour a day. Slack off, and he gets electrocuted; lose focus, and he gets punished.

Even more outrageous, he trains in his dreams too: Zoro teaches him swordsmanship, Mihawk acts as his sparring partner, Crocodile demonstrates a sandstorm finisher, and mirages of the Admirals take turns fighting him.

By day, he sails with Nami. By night, he battles the Four Emperors in his dreams.

Luffy cries, "I just want to be a free pirate!"

But his body tells a different story: one punch shatters a boulder, one kick levels a bandit stronghold, his Observation Haki awakens early, and his Armament Haki quietly begins to develop.

Ruler of the East Blue? One punch takes them out.

Warlords of the Sea? He crushes them in three battles.

At the Summit War, Akainu looks at Luffy, whose whole body is wreathed in all three types of Haki, and roars, "Impossible!"

Luffy, meanwhile, swings a blade clad in Conqueror's Haki and wails inside, "System, when can I finally sleep for eight hours?!"

This is the story of a workaholic forced onto a path with no way back.

Forced to grow stronger, forced to mature, forced to... become a legend.

When free will meets forced overwork, this sea will welcome a Pirate King unlike any other.
