I Raise Zombies to Defend the Empire; in the Apocalypse, I Knock on Skulls

"Humanity before the apocalypse is incomprehensible."

The male protagonist transmigrates to the human world before the apocalypse.

He becomes a tower guard tasked with defending against monster invasions.

He awakens the Plants vs. Zombies Tower Defense System.

By gathering sunlight, he can build the strongest defenses in history.

He also awakens a Pokemon System.

Capturing monsters with Poke Balls becomes his specialty.

He has all sorts of ways to deal with monsters.

But it is usually humans who leave him utterly baffled.

"Hey, hear about that new recruit who defended a whole tower by himself?"

"Yeah, but he might be some kind of plant monster. His tower is full of giant peas and giant corn."

"But he's killed countless monsters!"

"Sure, but I hear he can make monsters too. Someone saw him throw one out of a Poke Ball."

He guards the tower for a hundred years, gradually seeing through the empire's power games.

Power games are far more dangerous than guarding a tower.

Because humanity before the apocalypse is incomprehensible...
