Wukong, Your Performance This Month Is Unsatisfactory

Auditing the cultivation world, the perfect way to deal with the gods.

Others ascend through talent. I ascend by auditing the books.

I transmigrated into a low-level auditing post in the Celestial Court. I had no immortal roots or spiritual meridians, only an abacus and eyes that could see through data.

Faced with the Three Realms' outdated, loophole-ridden "incense-offerings and merit" system, I drew on my previous life's experience restructuring multinational conglomerates and began an audit by the book:

Why does the Peach Garden exceed its budget every year?

Whose private coffers are the fees for the Heavenly River's water resources ending up in?

How much of the mortal world's faith is swallowed by the invisible benefits enjoyed by the gods and Buddhas of the heavens?

If the accounts were unfair, I would suspend salaries across the Three Realms;

If gods and Buddhas conspired to falsify the books, I would build the "Heavenly Net System" and livestream every last income and expense to all living beings.

At last, the God of Wealth flew into a rage, and a decree from a Sage descended, intent on erasing me before the Hall of Rising Clouds.

Facing the immortals and gods of the heavens, I smiled and pressed the final command:

"The Heavenly Dao System has a 99.8% error rate. Entropy has reached the critical point of collapse."

"Those who agree to a reconstruction can stay;

As for those who still want to cook the books, forgive my bluntness: your divine offices have been listed for a bad-debt provision."

This time, I'll set the rules of the Celestial Court.
