Immortality Begins with Guarding a Tomb, Hiding Until I Become a Forbidden Legend

When Shi Jiu wakes up, he's become the caretaker of an ancient tomb in a remote mountain. Bound to the Eternal Lifespan Source, all he has to do is keep his head down and he can live forever!

"Ding! A cultivator is eyeing the treasures in the tomb. Host is advised to use a demon beast to deal with them: zero risk, zero cost!"

"Ding! The age of depleted spiritual energy has arrived. Host is advised to fake his death and sleep for a century until an opportunity arises!"

While others fight tooth and nail for resources to cultivate immortality, Shi Jiu stays tucked away in the ancient tomb like a lazy old dog, drinking spiritual spring water and sipping tea as he watches cultivators outside slaughter one another in pursuit of eternal life.

A sect fights over territory? He secretly lays traps, letting the two factions turn on each other and destroy themselves.

Evil demons throw reincarnation into chaos? He kills with borrowed knives, guiding the forces of righteousness to clean up for him.

The Nine Calamities descend, bringing ruin to all living things? He hides in the Heavenly Tomb ruins, unlocks the legacy of the Constant Keeper, and waits to reap the rewards!

After a thousand years of planning and ten thousand years in hiding, just as everyone thinks the old man in the remote mountain is nothing but an ant...

Outer-realm demons launch a massive invasion, and the Three Realms teeter on the brink of destruction. At last, Shi Jiu rises to his feet.
