Ruling the Deep Blue: From Failed Candidate to Imperial Marshal

This is an era out of joint.

The First World War has yet to begin, but aircraft carrier technology has arrived ahead of its time.

The global struggle for naval supremacy has reached a boiling point!

Li Chenyang opens his eyes to find himself an academy dropout in the navy of the Huazhong Empire. He knows the age of the aircraft carrier is inevitable, but he also understands the ironclad value of battleships.

No golden finger, only strategic vision and tactical ideas far ahead of their time.

His classmates mock him for dreaming, convinced the Huazhong Navy only needs mighty battleships to hold the line in Asia.

During a drill, he commands carrier-based aircraft in a flanking surprise attack and wipes out the empire's main fleet, leaving everyone stunned! The old guard questions whether aircraft carriers are all show and no substance? Given a mission at a moment of crisis, he leads a hastily assembled carrier task force in an air raid on an enemy naval base, defeating every opponent with a flawless record!

From academy dropout to ensign, then lieutenant… Li Chenyang rockets up the ranks!

He earns medals by the handful and gets promoted at a ludicrous pace.

At last, he wears the epaulets of a naval marshal and stands on an aircraft carrier's deck. Behind him, the Huazhong fleet stretches across the sea in formation, while carrier-based aircraft blot out the sky overhead. Facing the world's great powers, he declares, "The world's seas belong to Huazhong!"
