A Look at Black Myth: Wukong's Fall Brings the Worlds to Tears

The celestial screens descend, revealing the ten darkest lies of the Journey to the West world! From the start, the Black Myth timeline is exposed!

Here, the pilgrimage is no salvation. It is a conspiracy to reap the lives of all beings!

The greatest lie of all: Become a Buddha, and attain perfect freedom? On screen, the Victorious Fighting Buddha is dismembered by Erlang Shen, his six roots scattered across the world! Bodhisattva Lingji is beheaded, the Yellowbrowed Monster twists cause and effect, and every deity in the heavens is a man-eating demon. Beneath the Peach Trees lie the bones of countless people! Viewers across the myriad realms are left horrified as the Destined One retraces the Journey to the West, falling in pools of blood time and again.

But when the second playthrough begins, the Destined One awakens! When the Old Monkey offers him the headband again, he crushes it to pieces with one hand. "To hell with Buddhahood! This life, I bow to no gods or Buddhas. I trust only the iron staff in my hand!" One strike splits the heavens, shattering the Tathagata's golden body and cleaving the Hall of Miraculous Mist in two! Watching the Destined One fight his way back to Heaven, the Jade Emperor and Tathagata of the original world are scared witless...
