The Wise General of War: Tiedan's Legendary Resistance Against Japan

Tiedan is an ordinary farmer who only wants to tend his three mu of land, marry a wife, and live a peaceful life. Until one day, Japanese troops sweep through the area, and their artillery fire crushes everything he has: his parents are killed before his eyes, his fiancée is taken away, and his whole village is reduced to scorched earth.

Clawing his way up from a pool of blood, Tiedan has only half a pancake his mother baked tucked in his arms, but a raging fire of vengeance has been kindled in his heart. He knows nothing of lofty principles. He knows only this: kill the Japanese, avenge his family!

From trembling the first time he picks up a gun to becoming a crack shot who can hit a target at a hundred paces; from a lone, reckless avenger to the commander leading the Ghost Squad behind enemy lines; from a farmer who only knew how to wield a hoe to a brilliant tactician whose “homemade battlefield tactics” win even the regular army's admiration.

This is a journey of growth paved with blood and fire. There is no System, no golden finger, only the most realistic struggle between life and death, the plainest wisdom for survival, and a burning love for country and home.

“I don't know what makes a hero, but I know this: whoever invades our land, I won't spare a single one!”
