On my first day as a night shift worker at a city funeral home, the old security guard handed me a yellowing work manual. "You must follow the manual procedures every night. Remember, do not look at the third layer of the freezer under any circumstances." At first I just thought it was a prank, until late at night when I was patrolling the morgue alone, I heard the harsh sound of nails scraping against the freezer from the third floor. On the last page of the manual, there was a warning written in blood in my own handwriting: "Run away, they have recognized you!" What's even more terrifying is that the old security guard who warned me when I handed over my shift in the morning actually died three years ago...
