I Prove the Dao by Resigning, Becoming an Earthbound Immortal

Lin Fan helped his lord govern Northern Liang, administer four commanderies, and build up its military. His achievements were unrivaled, yet his success made his ruler feel threatened, and he was framed. At the victory banquet, he was stripped of his official position, and even the princess broke off their engagement. Just as he reached the brink of despair, a mysterious scroll awakened. With nine steps, he broke through the limits of martial arts, ascending in an instant to the rank of an Earthly Immortal. He could split mountains and rivers with his palm and command the universe with his aura. Those who had once insulted and demeaned him now bowed and trembled before him. The King of Northern Liang regretted everything, and the princess knelt and begged to get back together, but he turned away coldly. With invincible might, he roamed the world, opened the Gates of Heaven with his sword, and fought banished immortals, declaring arrogantly, "Mortal power and status are dirt. I roam free and shatter the nine heavens!"
